The other night we were lying in Lilly's bed as I was reading her a bedtime story. This is my 'quick read' when we manage to get her in bed later than planned and I have things to do. There is a picture in the book that has an apple with a worm coming out of it. So Lilly starts in.
Lilly: "Why is there a worm there? There are always worms in apples"
me: "Not always, and worms like apples so that why they eat them"
Lilly: "Worms always get me! Space worms get me and then [dramatic pause and sigh] they get me and they throw me away. They toss me in their space trash can!"
There you have it, space worms... space worms that are very environmentally conscious apparently, about humans, yeah...
