I am one of those people who could stand to have an additional 10 hours in the day it would seem. I have sewing projects that MUST get done in 2 weeks time. I have other projects I would love to get done sometime before my baby is out of his crib. I have busy busy BUSY weekends coming up including but not limited to:
Sat. 4/30: 8-10am volunteering at the local autism walk for sorority
Sun 5/1: 8am: March for Babies walk (Sponsor me!), 11am: party for one of our church pastors since he is leaving, 3pm: norwex party at moms.. although I doubt this will happen because she will probably have knee surgery friday.. more on that later
Sat. 5/7: wine charm making party at a sorority sisters house for convention basket
Sun. 5/8: mothers day, no plans really... boo.
Sat 5/14: 11am: mothers day brunch with my moms sorority chapter, 1pm friends baby shower
Sun 5/15: baby photo contest pictures at birth baby and beyond
Wed/Thur 6/1-2: garage sale with playgroup friends
These are all just the scheduled events. I also have other meetings sprinkled throughout. I have multiple things to do to get ready for most of these things, like said sewing projects. I don't know why it never seems like it's as busy when you write it down. seriously. I swear I am running around all day changing diapers, feeding Edison, getting Lilly on the potty, trying to get her to eat some kind of healthy lunch, find food for myself, entertain her, get Edison to nap for more than 20 minutes, all of this makes me unable to work on major projects and then when night comes I have to make dinner, clean up, do baths, get kidlets (amanda's word, hehe) ready for bed. By this time it is 8:30 or so. If I need to run errands I do it quickly at this time and then I don't get home til later. Then I feel like I should hardly be working on projects. wow, run-on sentence much? sorry for that
oh and p.s. my sewing machine is in the repair shop for a good cleaning and oiling. I'm bummed because the guy said he cant order an extension table for it and doesn't have any laying around that would work. Grrr.
