Freebies

I'm mostly over the incident that caused my little tantrum in my last post. Still totally angers me but I can be a better person. rawr.

This weekend has been bad in terms of eating habits. My birthday is Tuesday so I have received coupons for: Free BBQ This entree with purchase of another
Free medium concrete mixer with purchase of meal
Free Red Robin Burger/sandwich
and Free Like it concoction from Cold Stone Creamery

Now since our house is barren of any adequate food supplies I decided we may as well take a advantage of a few of these. First, on Friday Paco brought me the free BBQ This. Since he wasn't really feeling it and had other lunch I also had a sandwich yesterday. Then Friday night I decided we needed a treat so we got Red Robin. In my defense I did pick one that had fewer calories. Then last night I made a powdered soup kit but it was the most disgusting thing I have tried in a long time. Broccoli cheese soup that has virtually no cheese flavor just raises all sorts of questions. So after I went to the gym and was done at 9:35 and still hadn't eaten any more than the BBQ this sandwich and a cutie I decided to get the Culver's. The awesomeness is that with a grilled chicken sandwich and side salad instead of fries (and working out) I could totally eat the concrete mixer from a caloric intake standpoint. HA. You know, it was tasty but I think I am at a point where I have gone without sweets and stuff that I don't NEED them. gasp! Anyway. In spite of all that crappy eating I still weighed in 1.3 pounds lighter so I am now at 195.1. I had wanted to just be 195 by the end of February but lowered it to 190 after I found out I hadn't gotten up as high as I thought. Five pounds to go! Happy happy. I hope to get down to 165 eventually, but know this will take some time. Apparently according to Loseit.com it will be until May 25 but I don't know if I can keep up with that.

In kiddie news: I finally sold a set of Lilly's 12 month clothes I have technically sold about 5 times already. Yay! Just a little less clutter and $30. ($10 of which promptly went to culver's, but yeah yeah.). Lilly seemed much better after the tamiflu and initial sick but last night she woke up at midnight with a cough and no voice. IT is one of those coughs where when you try to take a deep breath you don't get anywhere or a nice full breath because it causes you to cough. Poor baby was really pale. She is doing a little better, but still not great. I hate it when the kids get sick. I know exactly when I need to go to the dr. and get drugs. With the kids I never know at what point I call it and fork over the co-pays to take them in. I don't want to deny them care, but I am so sick of going through the hassle of taking them in and paying just to be told to let it run its course.

Hopefully she gets better fast. Edison is good but he has gotten into his habit of waking up sometime in the middle of the night again and he also has a cough. His doesn't have any other symptoms with it, just the cough. Other than that he is doing well and feeding the dog his snacks at every chance he gets which she happily accepts. Poor dog has probably gained back all the weight she lost from walking this summer.

I need to decide what to do with the rest of my day. We were invited to a superbowl party so hopefully we can make it, if mom can come watch the kids. Cant take them now with Lilly being all sicky.
