Crafts and things

I subscribe to one magazine, Disney's Family Fun. This is mostly due to the fact that it was super amazingly cheap ($1 per issue) and it really does have some fantastic ideas of things to do and make with kids. In the March issue there was a section devoted to making a braided rug out of your old t-shirts. Anyone remember this by chance? I think I have some t-shirts to spare. I had actually been trying to decide what to do with them still because I just wasnt sure about a quilt. So it took some time but I finally decided to let go and I made the rug. It was fun and easy. I still fail though because there are spots that are loose because I just couldnt get the weaving right for some reason. Oh well, It works.  Here is a brief picture story of the process...

We'll see how long it lasts or where to put it. I still think it is more fun than the quilt.
