Can't wait for our 90th wedding anniversary

Paco and I managed to enjoy a casual morning.

I started the day by making some card stock mermaid dolls for Lilly.

Paco once again put his new found baking skills to use and make some faux cherry (cranberries infused with cherry juice... oops! meant to get real ones!) and chocolate chunk scones. YUM!


We played with Edison who is EVERYWHERE these days, I folded towels, and we teased Bailey a bit. See, casual morning.

We also sat down and for some reason got stuck reading some blogs that we enjoy. One of which is The Bloggess Unbelievably hysterical. So after reading a few of those it lead us to wikipedia's list of anniversary gifts by year I was laughing. Paco made some reference to getting me the appropriate gift for our 5th anniversary, har har... and then I got to the bottom of the list.

Seriously, who else thinks this is absolutely hilarious. Engraved marble? They obviously don't think anyone is going to make it to the 91st so better plan ahead during this wedding anniversary. On that note, Paco and I are totally going to make it to our 90th wedding anniversary. If for no other reason than for me to give him a frickin' tombstone for his gift! Hey we'll be 112 years old. That is totally possible.
