Long time no see..

Holy cow it's been over a month since last I posted anything on this. Hopefully I can find some time to get back to updating regularly.

For a month in review:
*garage sale went pretty well. I made $265 after paying my share of the ad. So, not too bad! I am really sad to say that money is pretty much all gone. Amazing how quickly money can go.

*got some pictures of the kids taken. We had taken them when Edison was 6 months old but they lost those (SO MAD) but they re-shot them so instead we'll have 6 month adjusted age photos. They were pretty cute and hopefully will be done soon.

*Signed up to participate in my first craft fair! I'm going to make wine related items. Bags, coasters, cork magnets and key chains, painted glasses and some charms. Hopefully that goes well. We'll also see how quickly I can get talented at all of the aforementioned items. That isn't until November so I can blog about my  progress. woo!

*speaking of progress, I had talked to my Dr a few weeks ago when I had a cold about my horrendous weight. He gave me some tips (nothing I didn't know already, just needed to put into practice) and recommended  a website www.loseit.com to track everything. I started May 23rd and have lost 8.5 pounds as of this morning. Who knew that actually watching what you eat and having smaller portions would help you lose weight, gasp! I need to step up some form of exercise portion though because I just feel like that 8.5 pounds is a joke, I don't see it at all. I would love to get out and walk for an hour every night but Paco has needed to go back into work late and night. There is never any time!

*My little chunk Edison is 9 months old now. NINE MONTHS. Where the heck did that time go??? I cannot believe the progress he has made in that time. He is rolling everywhere and just Squirmy McSquirmstein. He is  much more orally fixated than Lilly ever was so I am constantly monitoring Lilly's toy situation since they are so small now. He is trying to crawl which is hildarious because he literally uses his head to do it. He props himself up on his head since he apparently hasnt figured out thats what the arms are for.  Edison is still in the 1% for height and wright which is a whopping 15 pounds 7 ounces. WOO! His head is in the 9% so at least we know that brain is getting nice and big.

*This week the kids and I are embarking on a journey and going to the Dells with my brother and mom since Mark got free tickets. That will be quite the experience I am sure and a COLD one if this weather doesn't get back to where it was last week!

*Next weekend then we have a huge family reunion on Paco's side. We are looking forward to seeing the family since it has been so long and none of the aunts, uncles, and cousins have ever met Edison!

Well Edison is getting crabby and I have a ton of cleaning to do. Off to be little miss Becky Homecky and get some stuff done!
