a quickie

So who remembers the gross play kitchen I got for FREE and cleaned up to try and sell in the garage sale? (hint: check a few posts back). Well, it never did sell in the garage. I had Paco post it to his intranet board though and it SOLD right away! Seriously, Lilly and I got woken up early from MULTIPLE people calling. So yay! It was still just $15 but remember, I paid $0 for it. 100% profit since it was in our normal travels anyway.

I also got a bouncy seat and a changing table from freecycle that I am going to try to sell. We are doing a take 2 type thing with the garage sale in August. We will only do it for 1 day (Saturday) since it just doesn't work for me to be alone there with Lilly. Also, my mom doesn't have to take off work this way. This time we will advertise in the pennysaver too. We'll do the bare minimum to not get charged extra, but I still think it will be more profitable. If other people don't want to deal with the hassle of a garage sale I will gladly take their things off their hands for profit.

Okay the other thing I was going to mention: the NEW guy I called about fixing our house issues is AMAZING. seriously. I called him Sunday night. He came over to check it out Monday. The bathroom will be DONE tomorrow. AND FOR CHEAPER by like, $400-$700. you just cannot beat that. I asked if does roofs. I hope he looked into it and and says YES. I would so rather he do the job than the original contractor anyway. He is unemployed and just such a nice guy! so by this time tomorrow I will have a functional NON MOLDED / ROTTED WALL shower. I also hope to get the paint on tomorrow night since I have a meeting here Thursday. It's a small space, it should be easy!

P.S. that reminds me, I have been having really weird dreams lately. Very doomsday or tragic. I always wake up with a seriously accelerated heartbeat. I don't like it!
